BONSAI KITTEN – den Namen hat man schon etliche Male gelesen und einen Aufkleber der Band findet man deutschlandweit in fast jedem Club, aber welche Musik macht diese Band um Frontfrau und Gründerin Tiger Lilly Marleen denn jetzt eigentlich?

Musikalisch hat sich der Stil der Band über die Jahre vom Punk-A-Billy über Punkrock zu Metal mit Prog- und Blueseinflüssen entwickelt. Mit Metal-Schlagzeuger Marc Reign (ex-Destruction) und Bluesrock-Gitarrist Wally neu aufgestellt, setzten BONSAI KITTEN zusammen mit Spoxx am 3-Saiter ihrem richtungsweisenden und von der Presse gelobtem Vorgänger LOVE AND LET DIE (2020) mit LET IT BURN (30.08.2024) jetzt noch einen drauf!

Mit deutschlandweiten Haeadliner Touren, Konzerten in Finnland, Italien, der Schweiz, Polen Tschechien bis hin nach Bangkok, sowie Touren in Ungarn und England, Festival Auftritten u.a. bei Rock im Park, Metal Hammer Paradise, Ruhrpott Rodeo, Satanic StStompRebellion Punk Music Festival und Supportshows für u.a. The BossHoss, Dick Dale, D-A-D, Nashville Pussy, The Toy Dolls und New Model Army, sowie einem Duett mit Jesper Binzer von D-A-D in einer neuen Bekannt sind sie ebenfalls für ihre energetischen und vor Spielfreude sprühenden Live-Shows.

"LET IT BURN" is a fireworks display of a rock album, with which BONSAI KITTEN return in 2024. Do they want to burn everything down now? Not everything, but certainly the bridges to everything one thinks they know about this band from previous releases. Because the flames that BONSAI KITTEN ignite here seem to light their way.

Passionate and impulsive, the band led by frontwoman Tiger Lilly Marleen rushes through a musical variety and virtuosity from metal to blues throughout the entire work, which with fluid transitions also recalls rock classics of the 70s and 80s. Rarely is an album produced today with such handmade and detail-oriented care as guitarist and producer Wally achieves here. The 10 songs shine with heat and dynamism, casting a lyrical light on holding onto what you burn for. The band is now on LET IT BURN-Tour 2024!

BONSAI KITTEN – the name has been seen countless times, and one can find a sticker of the band s logoin almost every club nationwide in Germany. But what kind of music does this band, led by frontwoman and founder "Tiger Lilly" Marleen, actually make?

Musically, the band's style has also evolved over the years from punk-a-billy to rock and rock with metal and blues influences. Singer Marleen has restructured her band with metal drummer Marc Reign (ex-Destruction) and blues-rock guitarist Wally. And together with Spoxx on the 3-string bass, BONSAI KITTEN take their trailblazing predecessor "LOVE AND LET DIE" (2020) to the next level with the album LET IT BURN. (30.08.2024)!

"I WONDER" is the first new high-energy single marking BONSAI KITTEN's return. As a precursor to their new album, this song brims with anger and disbelief at human behavior while simultaneously sowing faith for the near future.

With nationwide headlining tours, concerts in Finland, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, and even as far as Bangkok, as well as headlining tours in Hungary and England, festival appearances including Rock im Park, Metal Hammer Paradise, Rhurpott Rodeo, Satanic Stomp, Rebellion Punk Music Festival and support shows for bands such as The BossHoss, Dick Dale, D-A-D, Nashville Pussy,The Toy Dolls and New Model Army, plus a duet with Jesper Binzer of D-A-D in a new version of "WAR PIGS“ in 2023, this band has a history worth noting. Likewise their sweat-drenched and energetically fuled live-shows.
